Fredericktown Tomato Show
September 6 – 9, 2017
A very unusual situation played out recently. This year, the Fredericktown Tomato Show T-shirt contest was open to the world, as was the premium book cover design. The 2017 winner of both the t-shirt and book cover contests was an anonymous 76 year old Fredericktown resident. He or she requested the prize be donated back to the Tomato Show Board. The Board will be donating the prize money to the Knox County OSU Scholarship Fund.
This year’s theme is “Go Nuts!” Shirts are available in two colors: red with black and white print and gray with red and black print. They are available in youth sizes 2-4, 6-8, 10-12, 14-16 and adult sizes small, medium, large, X-large, XX-large, and XXX large. Prices will remain the same as in recent years.
Shirts are available through Friday September 1st, at the Fredericktown Community Library. After that, they will be available at the Hospitality Tent during the Tomato Show, September 6-9. The 2017 premium Fredericktown Tomato Show books are available at the Fredericktown Community Library plus many of the sponsor locations. The Mount Vernon News will also have some books and daily schedules. The books contain information about exhibits, event details, free entertainment, daily schedules as well as ads from our valued sponsors.
