Fredericktown Christmas Walk continues plans for this year

Members of the Fredericktown Christmas Walk went over items and ideas from the Fredericktown Merchants Association. Bill  and FMA will co-ordinate the lights for the Gazebo, an advertisement in the Cider Press News, tours of the Leve Agriman, kids games, the popcorn man at Aunt Ruth’s Attic and possibly other activities.

The featured ornament will be on display at Huff’s Fine Jewelry, First Knox, FC Bank, Aunt Ruth’s Attic and Taste of County.   They can be purchased on December 2 from 3-7 at the vendor exhibit at the Presbyterian Church.  At this time there are 9-10 vendors, with room for about five more.

We are looking for quality items for the Charity Auction starting at 3 p.m. at the Senior Center on the Square.  Everyone is encouraged to spread the word.  We are also looking for toys in good shape for Santa’s Toy shop, no stuffed animals please.

Lists of activities for future publication were gone over and letters are ready to be sent to Churches and local business sponsors.

Joely is working on an auctioneer for the live auction and we need another wagon for the rides to Sockman Lake to see the lights.   Jim is getting pricing for yard signs that we will put up in the area.
