For elder residents of Fredericktown, and perhaps those living outside of town with a desire to move closer to the Village’s services and businesses, there is a new option for comfortable, affordable living.
On the grounds of the former Fredericktown Intermediate School is Taylor Street Commons, now completed and ready for renters. Five double-occupant, condominium style apartments await those 55 years and older, with everything you need to live well and comfortably in the community you appreciate and enjoy. Carter has considered building another two-unit building, and another three-unit building behind those that are already completed, so the possibilities for additional living spaces do exist for future tenants.
Each unit boasts over 1,300 square feet of living space, offering similar layouts that include 2 bedrooms–one with a master bathroom, and a second with one nearby, and a laundry room designed specifically for ease of access and use. For those summer or early fall nights that are perfect for sitting out and enjoying the sights and sounds of the Village of Fredericktown with friends, each apartment’s covered front porch is the perfect way to do just that. Renters also have the benefit of exterior building and landscaping services to create the look they desire.
When the season turns cold and the snow begins to fall, renters can take comfort in knowing that their apartments are built in an energy-efficient design, and are well insulated to keep even the coldest air at bay, with the added comfort and convenience of gas heat and an included hot water heater. When the snow does fall, you can be at ease in your mind, because snow removal is also available when you are home at Taylor Street Commons. For the hotter days of summer, each unit also includes central air conditioning.
In each centrally-located kitchen of all units, renters will enjoy stainless steel appliances, and beautiful granite countertops. Throughout the rest of the spacious living areas, renters will find many oversized closets and other storage areas, plus a convenient attic space.
Renters have the option of parking their vehicles outside on spacious driveways that lead right to Taylor Street, or they can move their cars inside to oversized garages.
